A commercially focused senior finance professional with a track record of operating at board level both within organisations and as an external advisor, Colin founded Porthilly Consulting in 2021

Having trained as a Chartered Account with Big 4 firm PwC, he spent the best part of a decade advising clients across a wide range of business areas including financial reporting, internal controls, commercial risk and audit. As an Assistant Director within PwC's Corporate Finance practice, he provided lead advisory M&A support to clients on a range of company acquisitions, disposals and fund raises and was part of the Insider Wales Corporate Finance Team of the Year in 2012 and 2013

After leaving PwC, Colin spent the next 7 years working in Finance Director roles where his focus was on strategic planning, financial modelling, cashflow management and raising external funding

Colin was awarded the ILM Level 7 certificate for Executive & Senior Level Coaches & Mentors and enjoys supporting both individuals and businesses to unlock their potential

 

Colin is a Fellow of the ICAEW and a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management and the Association for Coaching
